SIR-ARTHUR delivers real craftmanship with products inspired by the 19th century. Preserved insects, birds, butterflies and all kinds of animals are handmade en can be delivered on special demand and with your own wishes. These unique products are a beautiful asset for your home, like your livingroom. But also companies and shops use preserved animals or insects to make a difference, or as a marketing tool. Some of these products are put in (antique) domes, others in special frames. It can all be done on your special demand.
SIR-ARTHUR is part of a worldwilde network of certified farms, zoos and petting zoos nearby. All the animals and insects SIR-ARTHUR preserves, have had a natural death. Game is not used in our shop. We guarantee that all our products are animal friendly. Some of our products have a international CITES certificate. Read more about CITES.

Workshop Entomology: 

In the entomology workshop you will learn the basics of conserving butterflies and insects. In a 2/2.5- hour session you'll be taught you how to conserve a butterfly and a beetle. From a dried specimen to a beautifully spread specimen.


The Entomology package

This workshop can be reserved individually (maximum 8 people, minimum participation 4 people). Price 89 euro per person.

You will receive a lesson program of approximately 2 hours in which you learn the skills of setting up butterflies. You will receive a framed box for the insects that you have conserved during the workshop.

The price includes: coffee at the start and during the break a drink of your choice or a glass of wine.

The workshop takes place on Sunday afternoon from 2 pm. Do you want to continue preparing butterflies and insects at home? This is possible with the purchase of a starter set (60 euros): preparation needles, tensioning board, tensioning strips, head pins, tweezers. You can order this in the webshop when booking.
